Bacilos is a Grammy and Latin Grammy-winning Latin pop band known for blending acoustic pop with Latin folk and Caribbean rhythms. Formed in the late 1990s in Miami by Jorge Villamizar (Colombia) and André Lopes (Brazil), the band rose to fame with global hits like “Caraluna,” “Tabaco y Chanel,” and “Mi Primer Millón.”

After reuniting in 2017, Bacilos evolved with the addition of top-tier Cuban musicians, bringing rhythmic depth and fresh energy to both recordings and live performances. Their 2024 album, Pequeños Romances, recorded at Criteria Studios in Miami, reflects this renewed sound with a focus on live instrumentation and heartfelt lyrics.
